We are pleased to announce that Zhengwu Zhang has won the 2014-2015 Graduate Student Research and Creativity Award. Each year, the award is given to five recipients to recognize their outstanding contributions to research and creative endeavors. The recipients are awarded $675 for their excellence in their fields.

What makes this award even more special for the department is that for the past four years, a student from our department has won the award. Sebastian Kurtek won in 2012, Jingyong Su in 2013, Qian Xie in 2014, and Zhengwu Zhang for this year. This truly shows the high quality of graduate students our department has. We hope each and every one of you continue your fine work.
