Research Track Position in Biostatistics or Quantitative Psychology.

Setting

The position is within the TSET Health Promotion Research Center (HPRC) at the NCI‑Designated Stephenson Cancer Center and the Hudson College of Public Health at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center (OUHSC), Oklahoma City.

HPRC’s mission is to reduce disease burden by addressing modifiable health risk factors such as tobacco use, sedentary lifestyle, poor diet, and risky substance use through research and intervention development.

Department Information

The Department of Biostatistics and Epidemiology is the largest department in the College of Public Health, with 25 faculty and ~75 graduate students across MPH, MS, and PhD programs.

Research areas include longitudinal data analysis, survival methods, clinical trials, Bayesian statistics, survey sampling, statistical genetics, high‑dimensional data, health disparities, tobacco control, communicable diseases, trauma outcomes, reproductive epidemiology, and cardiometabolic outcomes.
